RECENT AWARDS & PUBLICATIONS:
Madlyn-Ann C. Woolwich will be the 1st artist to exhibit in May at the new
library opening in Middletown, NJ. She will also have a one person show at Linderbridges Gallery in
June, Shrewsbury Village Shopping Center. Woolwich's work, a large picture on the
Plein Air magazine website, and a complete step by step pastel of a boat
scene in Rockport was presented in the premier issue of Plein Air Magazine.
She was the opening demonstrator at the Monmouth Festival of the Arts, and was
photographed for publication by The Asbury Park Press.
Ellen Dreibelbis won the Airfloat Systems Award at PASTELS USA, the 18th International Exhibition of the Pastel Society of the West Coast at the Triton Museum, Santa Clara, CA. Her work was also accepted into the American Women Artists International Exhibition at McLarry Fine Art and Meyer Gallery, Santa Fe, NM, and she participated in the Sausalito, CA show. Ellen's work was featured in the "Master Pastel Artists of the World" section of International Artist Magazine, August /September 2004, and her article "Figures and Portraits With Feeling" was reprinted in Pastel Highlights 2, 2004, the best articles on pastel in American Artist magazine in the last 10 years. She will also be the subject of a feature article in an upcoming issue of the Pastel Journal.
Madlyn-Ann C. Woolwich PSA Master Pastelist/ Distinguished Pastelist, was
the judge of selection for the first pastel exhibition at the Arts Center at
Old Forge, NY, "Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Pastels."
Christine Debrosky was the judge of awards.

Ellen Dreibelbis has had paintings accepted in the Pastel Society of the
West Coast Show in Roseville, CA., Pastels on High International, and the
Sierra Pastel Society's Show in Placerville CA, winning a Merit
Award. She also was accepted into the International Association of Pastel
Societies Show at Chablis Gallery, Placerville, winning an Honorable
Mention Award in that show. In addition, she will have 3 paintings in the
Pastel Society of New Mexico Show in Albuquerque, NM, and one in the
Pastel Society of the Southwest, at Atrium Gallery, Ft. Worth,
TX. Ellen's work will be the subject of a feature article in the December
issue of American Artist magazine.
