Every once in a while, a friend will loan me something interesting to paint. I liked the old crocks that had belonged to her Grandmother, and liking a challenge, I laid one on its side to see if I could feel the depth of the crock. I think I succeeded. The blue pitcher was added to give a strong color complement.
