Testimonials:
"In the past few years I have taken four Dawn Davis workshops. Her wet in wet process is really fun to use and she communicates well how to do it. With each class I learn more and more nuances about it, plus she has helped me work it into my own style.

During the workshop Dawn is very good at paying attention to each person and their work, and she gives us a good variety of "tricks" to try. Her best asset, to me, is her quiet focus. As she calmly works, she surveys her paper's surface, weighing options and seems to let the painting tell her what to do next. There is a serenity in the room that is contagious!

As a retired teacher I appreciate her manner and activities. I recommend her workshops to artist of all levels."

"It was a great pleasure to participate in two watercolor workshops taught by Dawn Davis. Her teaching was both personal and creative, and spoke to each individual artist's style and goals. Her demonstrations and critiques were so positive and extremely informative, unlike many teachers I have experienced.

She works from items from nature; flowers rocks, plants and individual subjects and teaches how to express their particular form and vibrant colors on paper. What begins as a dab or spatter of paint on paper, turns into a beautiful creation by the end of the week. This is after all the layering, glazing and re-visiting to detail of each painting. Unlike many successful artists, she is willing to share all of her secrets as well as following up with individual students after the end of the workshop."

Was INCREDIBLE.....I learned so much....Dawn was one of the best teachers I have ever been around. I plan to go back and learn even more..She is so talented and generous with her gift (knowledge). Was one of the best painting experiences I have had...A huge thank you to her for being so patient and encouraging."
