This photograph was taken in October 2008, in New York state. In person, the gold and orange leaves appear to radiate their colors into the blue sky and layer over each other. It has a magical flow, as if the leaves are waves of yellow, orange and peach, crashing into each other. This image has a "wow-factor"; you will not believe how detailed each leaf shows and how the different colors of the leaves layer over each other. The paper that it is printed on is a high quality Kodak Metallic paper; in person the colors are vivid and very clear and well defined. All of Costa's photographs are matted in acid free museum quality paper and backing, and are dry mounted for protection of the image.
