This photograph was taken in October 2008, in New York state. The bright yellow leaves in this vertical image really appear to glow with sunlight. This photograph is also a great second image to accompany or partner Costa's other photographs, Forest Lane and Stained Glass Forest (both of which are vertical images.) The paper that it is printed on is a high quality Kodak Metallic paper; in person the colors are vivid and very clear and well defined. All of Costa's photographs are matted in acid free museum quality paper and backing, and are dry mounted for protection of the image.
