Eligibility: Submit multi or interdisciplinary projects that combine the arts with the rich history and natural resources unique to the Anacostia Trails Heritage Area. The project idea can employ an array of disciplines - whether it is a cartographic exploration of the trails or the area's flora and fauna, a map of time that looks at how the area has evolved, a set of paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, books or a combination that investigate the soul of the Anacostia Trails Heritage Area, or a study of past and/or present - so that it resonates with the ideas of history, place/ memory, nature and art. The project could also employ sound, video or performance as a medium. Site specific installations are also welcome.
