The submitted work is to express emotions or views relating to water- its value, beauty, use, abuse, etc. Pieces will be judged only on artistic merit and will not be censored according to political views. All entries must be submitted in person to the gallery at 910 Santa Fe Drive, Denver. All media accepted, oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, ink, assemblage, print, collage, photography and sculpture (stone, clay, wood, paper, paper mache, bronze). Art must be original, no reproductions, and may have been created at anytime. All 2D work must be ready to hang with a secure wire on the back. No saw-tooth hangers. All 3D work must fit through a standard size double door, and must not exceed 80 pounds. Sculpture must be sturdy and stand-alone. If the 3D work is to be hung on the wall it cannot exceed 25 pounds. No large installation pieces accepted due to space constraints. Original artwork must be brought in person to the gallery. Please do not ship art, bring images, CD's or other reproductions of your work. Artists are solely responsible for delivery and pick up of all artwork.

ONDARTE offers a pristine environment in the Riviera Maya, perfect for the interaction of artists with nature. ONDARTE'S grounds are comprised of the living quarters, open-air working areas, temperature controlled storage rooms, a communal kitchen/dining area and tranquil relaxation areas set around the swimming pool and tropical gardens. Artists have full access to the grounds so that they may create wherever they feel inspired. The facility has furnished suites for the artists in residence, all with private bathrooms and work desks for artists who require a more private area to complete their endeavors. Every effort is made to support the unique creative processes of the residents. Once a month ONDARTE hosts an open house to which local artists and the surrounding communities are invited in order to further promote the cultural exchange between the artists and their adopted home.
