Art has been my lifelong pursuit. I am self-taught, relying on numerous books, a few workshops and countless life drawing classes as part of my training.

I am intrigued and fascinated by color, texture and shape. My objective and goal is to express a visually exciting, tactile experience for myself and for the viewer. I want to create a mood, a mysterious quality that keeps the eye interested in exploring surface textures and patterns. I work intuitively and am inspired by personal experiences and by ancient myths and beliefs.

I wish to express the spiritual in nature and to connect with that which is transcendental, unbounded, free, universal and joyful.

I work with acrylic, watercolor paint and inks. I also work with a variety of mediums such as stucco, moulding paste, gel, tissue paper, foil and different tools on canvas and board.
