| Several years ago I studied with the great Foster Caddell in Connecticut. This is a painting of one of his outdoor classes. I am the young man standing by the tree directly behind Foster. Even though my style and painting technique are quite different from Foster's, I learned a lot from him, and he had a great influence on my art. |
