| This is my most recent painting of Captiva's 102-year old Chapel by the Sea. It was painted after Hurricane Charley and reflects the dimunition of foliage and the total absence of the large Norfolk Pine that was once behind the two Palm trees. Several times I had suggested to the folks at the Chapel that they remove the Pine because it leaned badly and spoiled the view and the painting. Well, Charley took care of that. |
