Painting the Colors of St Lucia

Put life into your landscapes. Students will use the 'alla prima' method to capture and interpret a moment in time. You will learn the importance of observation (rather than use formulas and recipes) to paint what you actually see. Through instruction, demonstration, and critique, this workshop explores composition and design, value and color harmony, and brushwork and edges. Any medium is welcome! Demonstrations will be directed at oil painters, but concepts and principles will apply to all media. Whether you are a novice just learning to mix color, or a professional needing advanced problem solving, Lori's individualized instruction will address needs at your level and push you to the next step in your personal development.
