"Creating Space on a Flat Surface with John Miller"
January 6, 2018

Spend a morning with artist and designer John Miller exploring how to create space in 2D artwork. In this class, you’ll discuss a variety of methods to create visual space regardless of media. For example, in drawing, you’ll discuss the difference between linear perspective and color contrast perspective, and how the two options change when painting or printing. Students will also discuss how to create a composition, how to use aerial perspective, study how light affects distance, and more. The class size is extremely limited, so John will work mostly one-on-one with students.
