Stanley Bleifeld Memorial Grant

The Stanley Bleifeld Memorial Grant is a prize of $5,000 sponsored by the National Sculpture Society. It is awarded annually to a sculptor who has demonstrated outstanding ability as a sculptor and who has created a body of work inspired by nature which includes works of sculpture in bas-relief and in the round. International Art Competition "Colors"

Contemporary Art Room Gallery seeks entries for an online international competition. Artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. In this open subject competition the theme is concentration of color. Artworks with one color or a multitude of colors will be accepted. A variety of interpretations can be submitted (representative, abstract, conceptional...). All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. The Colored Pencil Society of America announces a call to artists for an online art exhibition, February 1, 2019 - January 31, 2020. $2,000 Best of Show and EXPY Award. Lesser amounts and product awards for other winners for a total of over $5,000. Juror: Ariel Plotek, PhD. Explore This! is open to living artists 18 years or older, regardless of geographic location. 14th International Drawing Annual

Manifest seeks submissions for the 14th International Drawing Annual (INDA), which includes $2,000 in cash awards with a $1200 First Prize! Every three years the annual award winning INDA collection of recent contemporary drawings is meant to provide a resource to the world to help investigate the question of "what is exceptional drawing?" Submissions are expected to vary, including a range of drawing types, from the most academic to the most experimental, but all with some relevance to the artists' honest understanding of the practice of "drawing." As this is a book project, works that are not otherwise available (i.e. physically) may still be submitted for consideration. All that is required of accepted artists is a print-quality hi-res digital image of accepted works. Artists receive a complimentary copy of the book. $40 entry fee. Deadline: December 31, 2018.
