The Colored Pencil Society of America announces a call to artists for an online art exhibition, February 1, 2019 - January 31, 2020. $2,000 Best of Show and EXPY Award. Lesser amounts and product awards for other winners for a total of over $5,000. Juror: Ariel Plotek, PhD. Explore This! is open to living artists 18 years or older, regardless of geographic location. CPSA members and non-members are eligible to enter. CPSA members receive an entry discount, but do not receive preferential treatment for selection by or awards from the juror. Entries must be predominantly colored pencil, but also include other media or attributes that would make them ineligible for the CPSA International Exhibition. Colors of Humanity Art Gallery seeks entries for an online art exhibition, December 1-31, 2018. Cash prizes will be given. The color blue is symbolic for many different things and emotions. It is most commonly associated with harmony, faithfulness, confidence, distance, infinity, the imagination, cold, and sometimes with sadness. It can be expressed many ways and we look forward to seeing your interpretation. We will be donating 10% of all entry fees to Natural High, a national 501(c)3 nonprofit organization inspiring youth to discover, amplify and pursue their natural high so they have a reason to say no to drugs and alcohol. Abstract art or abstraction is still a definition to be determined. It could also be a conceptual piece in the form of an installation or theory, but no matter how it is defined, it is an all-encompassing category for this month's show. 14th International Drawing Annual

Manifest seeks submissions for the 14th International Drawing Annual (INDA), which includes $2,000 in cash awards with a $1200 First Prize! Every three years the annual award winning INDA collection of recent contemporary drawings is meant to provide a resource to the world to help investigate the question of "what is exceptional drawing?" Submissions are expected to vary, including a range of drawing types, from the most academic to the most experimental, but all with some relevance to the artists' honest understanding of the practice of "drawing." As this is a book project, works that are not otherwise available (i.e. physically) may still be submitted for consideration. Passion to Perform

Passion to Perform, an initiative of Yamana Gold, celebrates the interconnection between performance and passion, and aims to award winning entrants with meaningful compensation that can positively impact each artist's practice and encourage them to pursue their passion. $6,000 for first prize, $2,500 for second prize and $1,500 for third prize. In addition, a fund has been established to acquire artworks from the shortlist of finalists, which will then become part of the permanent collection of Yamana Gold. Artists are welcome to submit paintings, drawings, sculptures and photography. The competition is open to any person practicing art, and each artist can submit up to 2 entries. The panel of judges will initially review entries made through the online system. Following this, approximately 35 artists will be short listed. Only works that are short listed from the initial digital submission will be reviewed for final judging. With great prizes up for grabs, $3000 Grand Prize, TZIPAC medal and international exposure, we hope the Zebra Awards will bring to light the marvelously diverse and vibrant visions of black and white photography from many amazing artists worldwide.
