| "Loose & Colorful" Plein Air Workshop with Mike Rooney (June 14-16 in Fayetteville, NC) | |

Nationally known artist Mike Rooney will teach a plein air workshop to students from beginners to professionals, June 14-16 at Cape Fear Studios in Fayetteville, NC. Mike suggests using oils because he feels acrylics dry too fast for outdoor work. However, if you are an experienced plein air painter, you should bring what you like the best, and feel free to substitute. He recommends that each student do a 6 X 8 painting outdoors as a "dry run" before the workshop to see if you are missing anything you may need. His list of supplies will be posted on Cape Fear Studios website. Cost: $100 per person per day. Total: $300 per person for 3-day workshop (non refundable). Certificates of Participation for the three day workshop will be provided to participants to be used for CEU credit (with prior approval).
