A ceramics critique in an art class can involve evaluating a piece of pottery for its form, technique, and meaning. It can also include considering how the piece is constructed, what it represents, and how it evokes or represents emotions. Reviewing other people's work, techniques, and artistic intent can help you clarify your thoughts, evaluate your work, and make better pottery.
