"Art in Dialogue: Monthly Encounters | Practice, Critique, Community"
September 9 - December 16, 2026

A live online art class that offers a unique blend of painting, art history/theory, philosophy, weekly assessments, and engaging peer discussions. This four-session course consists of three-hour sessions delivered monthly over Zoom, for a total of 12 hours of instruction. The course is designed to foster self-expression and help you discover your personal artistic style. Although this class is for everyone, you need to be at ease with the medium of your choice. Instruction begins at your current level of proficiency, and the group progresses together. "Assemblage and Mixed Media Art"
Thursdays, October 29 - December 10, 2026

Students in this online assemblage art course will master the foundational techniques of mixed-media construction from their home studios. Participants will develop a sharp eye for transforming everyday household or discarded objects into cohesive three-dimensional narratives, learning to evaluate items for both their structural integrity and their symbolic meaning. Beyond physical fabrication, students will cultivate critical thinking and visual literacy by actively participating in live Zoom critiques. By the conclusion of the workshop, learners will possess a portfolio of finished sculptures alongside the technical and creative problem-solving skills necessary to independently share, critique, and execute complex multi-material art projects.
