Ages: 15+. In this 4-hour workshop, we will practice a variety of different techniques for painting trees. We will look at how to paint clumps of trees far away, how to paint medium detailed trees a bit closer, and how to paint bark up close. We will also look at painting different types of trees including hardwoods, birch, and pine trees. This class will be a workshop model- we will learn and practice these techniques so that you can test them out in your landscape paintings at home. I do suggest having a basic understanding of watercolors before taking this class.
