"Transparency for Water & Glass in Oils and Acrylics"
April 8, 2024

Oil and acrylic colors can achieve that transparent - almost watercolor - look with deep, jewel-like colors. The addition of a paint medium specific to oils or acrylics along with the application of specific techniques, methods and color combinations, will result in transparent depth and illusion. Whether painting in an abstract or realistic form, transparency can create the illusion of water and glass, or any subject. Spontaneity of method and color mixing for the subject will be achieved through technique exercises and demonstration. All levels of experience are welcome!!
