Black and White Art Competition

International Gallery of the Arts (IGOA) announces a call to artists for an online art exhibition, October 1-31, 2017. This competition is open to all artists worldwide. Texas Mushroom Festival Art Contest

The Texas Mushroom Festival is presenting its Annual Art Contest and Show. The Jury selected art will be shown at the Truman Kimbro Convention Center in Madisonville, Texas during the Texas Mushroom Festival on October 14, 2017. First Place $750 / Second Place $50 / Third Place $50. Entry is open to all levels of expertise, ages 18 and over. Submissions are restricted to 36"x48" and under. Artwork should be suitable for display on an easel, (i.e. Framed, matted or on rigid substrate, but no glass in frames). The LH Horton Jr Gallery at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA seeks entries for a group exhibition of 10 to 12 artists, February 22 - March 16, 2018. This $3,000 prize from the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University honors the best documentary writing and photography in alternating years. The focus is on current or recently completed work (within the last two years). This year's prize is for photography.
