St. Charles Fine Art Show (Posted: 11/6/14) -- The 17th Annual St. Charles Fine Art Show will be held May 23 & 24, 2015 along the banks of the Fox River in the scenic downtown district of St. Charles, Illinois, approximately 40 miles west of Chicago. IV Bienial Ciudad Juárez - El Paso Biennial 2015 (Posted: 10/6/14) -- The El Paso Museum of Art in El Paso, TX and the Museo de Arte Ciudad Juárez seek entries for a juried art exhibition, November 1, 2015 - February 7, 2016. Exhibition Prize: One artist will be selected for a solo exhibition traveling to both museums. Two Acquisition Prizes: The El Paso Museum of Art will purchase one work each by an American and Mexican artist. Jurors: Eduardo Díaz, Director Smithsonian Latino Center (Washington, DC); Santiago Espinosa de los Monteros, Renowned curator, museographer, and art critic (Mexico City). The Sex Issue: Volume X (Posted: 1/5/15) -- Projekt30 seeks art for its 10th and final "Sex Issue" exhibition addressing gender and sex. We are accepting work ranging from the personal, to the political, to the near-pornographic. Japan Day Art Contest 2015 (Posted: 1/14/15) -- Japan Day @ Central Park is thrilled to announce our 4th Annual "Japan Day Art Contest." The winning artwork will become the official image of Japan Day @ Central Park 2015 and will be used for our Official Poster, Program, Flyer and T-shirts. The Know Art Project/ Slippery Rock University (Posted: 9/11/14) -- The Know Art Project, in conjunction with the Women's and Gender Studies Program and Martha Gault Art Society of Slippery Rock University (Slippery Rock, PA) announces Global Images of U.S. Women. Sugarloaf Craft Festivals - Fall 2015 (Posted: 8/18/14) -- Sugarloaf Craft Festivals is seeking artists for its Fall juried art festivals: October 9-11 in Timonium, MD; October 16-18 in Gaithersburg, MD; October 23-25 in Somerset, NJ; November 6-8 in Oaks, PA; November 20-22 in Gaithersburg, MD; December 11-13 in Chantilly, VA. The Artist or Craftsperson who designs the work and is a principal of the business must be present to show their work. All work must be original and completely finished. The Manifest Prize (Posted: 1/26/15) -- Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, OH is excited to announce that the annual Manifest Prize (ONE) award is increasing to $5,000. Open to works of any media, any genre/style, any size. One work will be selected for the award, featured in the gallery (December 11, 2015 - January 10, 2016), and published. Five semi-finalist works will also be published. Open to all artists. Students and professionals are equally encouraged to enter. $36 for up to 3 entries, $10 for each additional entry.
