Small Matters of Great Importance: Paper + Art

Edward Hopper House Art Center in Nyack, NY announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, Nov. 19, 2016 - Jan. 8, 2017. $500 Award for Excellence and additional cash and other prizes to be awarded. Top prizewinners will be featured in our publicity. Juror: Michelle Donnelly, Curatorial Fellow at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. The theme for this year's show is paper. All work submitted must use paper as a primary medium or support, including works on paper, artist books, collage, origami, paper sculpture, or cut paper. Open to all artists age 18 and over. Artwork must not exceed 144" square inches (or 12 x 12 in.), including frame. 3D work for display on pedestals must not exceed 512 cubic inches (or 8 x 8 x 8 in.). We cannot accept work that hangs from the ceiling.
