Call for Artists: RePurposed - our 4th annual juried exhibition

Arthaus Projects announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, July 5th - July 27th, 2019 in Williamsport, PA. First Prize: $250 and 2020 exhibition, Second Prize: $150, Third Prize: $75. Jurors: Matthew Zarzyczny, Kurt Herrmann, Paul McGinn, and Joel Ryder. Connecticut Women Artists announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, June 15 - September 13, 2019 at the Slater Memorial Museum / Norwich Free Academy campus in Norwich, Connecticut. $2,200 in cash awards. All work submitted must be original creations. The Craft Show is committed to presenting the most thoughtful, original, and skilled American & International craft and design objects. The artist should apply in the category that best describes his/her medium. For instance, a jewelry artist using metal should not apply in the metal category. The Inspiration Plus Foundation announces a call to artists for a juried exhibition of the solarplate printmaking process, November 15 - December 29, 2019 at the Southampton Arts Center in Southampton, NY. Over $28,000 worth of prizes, consisting of 40 Awards! Including placement in solo shows, exhibitions and residencies, press and studio time, and gift certificates for products, supplies, and accessories. Awards selected by Juror Eric Fischl. The exhibition is open to all original print work with the emphasis on the solar plate polymer plate process, which all work must incorporate, although other mixed media techniques may be included in the same piece. There is no size limitation, however shipping regulations may predetermine restrictions. Reproductions of pre-existing drawings and paintings and other works of art are not eligible. 2020 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals

The Exhibitions Committee for the Rehoboth Art League is in the process of organizing solo and group exhibitions for 2020. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed. The RAL is situated in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually. Special exhibitions have played an important part of our programming since the league's beginning, in 1938. Call for Entry: Annual Regional Juried Exhibition 2019

The Guild of Boston Artists announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, August 31 - September 28, 2019 in Boston, MA. First Place $500; Second Place $250; Third Place $150. Jurors: William Bartlett, Michelle Jung, and Sergio Roffo. Work must be representational, with a strong academic background. Accepted media are oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, and pencil. Prints, including giclees, are not eligible. CraftForms 2019: 25th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Craft

For the 25th year, Wayne Art Center in Wayne, PA invites artists to submit original works to Craft Forms, one of the premier contemporary fine craft exhibits in the United States. $10,000+ in prize awards will be presented. Lacawac Artists' Residencies 2019

Lacawac Sanctuary and Field Station is a nature preserve, biological field station, and environmental education center located near Lake Ariel, PA in the Pocono Mountains. Each year professional or aspiring artists are selected to spend time at Lacawac Sanctuary for either one or two weeks. During the residencies, artists are free to produce their artwork using the inspiration of the beauty that is Lacawac. Housing and limited studio space is provided. Artists are provided: a comfortable, rustic room in the Historic Watres Lodge or the Ice House; access to 545 acres which includes a glacial lake, 2 ponds, shore access to Lake Wallenpaupack, ledges natural area, and forests; interaction with scientists conducting research at Lacawac (May thru early August). $10 application fee.
