Art Olympia 2019: International Open Art Competition

Artists are invited to submit entries for a juried art exhibition, on display June 8 to 16 and June 23 to 29, 2019 at the Toshima Ward Government Building, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Tokyo. The first place winner will receive $120,000 and 1,000 artists will be featured on the Art Olympia website as well as art magazines. Jurors: Brett Littman, Chu Teh-I, Florence Derieux, Emmanuelle Lequeux, Zheng Lin, Hiroshi Senju, Toyomi Hoshina, Yuko Hasegawa. Eligible media: Two-dimensional works, representational or abstract; oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mineral pigments, print, charcoal, digital/multimedia art, mixed media, photography etc. (calligraphy, video, sculpture, and group/collaboration works are not accepted) Original works that have never been previously submitted to other competitions (rule offender will be revoked). $60 for 1 image, $100 for 2 images, $140 for 3 images. YICCA 18/19 - International Contest of Contemporary Art

Aps MOHO announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, June 2019 at the Rizzuto Art Gallery in Palermo, Italy. 4000,00€ in awards. Jurors: Giovanni Rendina, Filippo Marzocchi and Mattia Pajè. All kinds of art works are accepted, including video, installations and performances. Jury's final decision will lead to a selection of 18 artists that will participate in the final exhibition. The contest is open to all artists or groups of artists and professionals from any country. Open Call for Entries: Contemporary Miniprint of Kazanlak 2019

The Contemporary Miniprint of Kazanlak is an annual event open internationally to all artists over the age of 18, working in traditional printmaking techniques and/or working in experimental digital printmaking and mixed media techniques. The exhibition will be hosted June 1-30 at Art Gallery Kazanlak (Kazanlak) + July 1-15 in Sofia, Bulgaria. There are 2 joint First Prizes (Classical + Experimental) + up to 6 Honorary Mentions. All fine-art printmaking mediums and tendencies are acceptable, including relief, lithography, silkscreen, intaglio, monotype and original digital media. Land Art Generator Initiative 2019 Masdar City

Artists are invited to design an iconic work of art for a landmark site within Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. $40,000 First Place, $10,000 Second Place. The 24th World Energy Congress, held September 9-12 in Abu Dhabi will be the venue for the exhibition of 25 shortlisted projects designed for Masdar City. Your artwork will use renewable energy technology as a medium of creative expression and will provide on-site energy production consistent with the master plan of the city. Submissions should include concept renderings and diagrams of proposal for public artwork. Three A1 PDF, written narrative DOC, and JPG images. No fee to enter. Deadline: May 12, 2019.
