The Transylvania Community Arts Council announces a call to artists for its July 4th Fine Arts & Crafts Showcase on Main Street in downtown Brevard, NC. All work must be original. All work accepted for the show must be prepared for exhibit and remain on view until the close of the show. Strive: An Exhibition Highlighting American Immigration & the American Dream

The d'Art Center in Norfolk, VA announces a call to artists for a national juried art exhibition, July 25 - August 31, 2019. Awards for 1st Place: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $150. Juror: Solomon Isekeije. This exhibition highlights immigration in America and the long admired endeavor of obtaining the American Dream. This country was formed on immigrants seeking new opportunities, democracy, civil liberties, and both religious, and political freedom. The topic of immigration has been discussed in almost every news cast over the last two years and continues to be at the center of much discussion and debate in the United States. Strive will feature work that depicts various topics surrounding American immigration both throughout American history and in today's society, spanning from those who initially came to the United States seeking the American Dream (and those who currently are in the process of doing so), all the way to refugees looking for a safe haven. Southwestern Watercolor Society 56th Membership Exhibition

The Southwestern Watercolor Society (SWS) seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, August 28 - September 28, 2019 at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, TX. Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, August 19 to September 20 at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida. First Place: $1000 and solo exhibition within Holzhauer Gallery; plenty of prizes allotted for 2nd and 3rd place 2D and 3D works. Juror: Katie Pfohl, PhD. The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas in Pine Bluff, Arkansas announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, October 10, 2019 - January 4, 2020. $2,000 in purchase awards, $2,000 price awards, $1,000 in Best in Show. Juror: Joseph Givens. Artists must be 18 years or older and reside in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas or Missouri. Artisanville - A Community of Artists 2019

Announcing a "call to artists" for Artisanville, a unique indoor Fine Art and Fine Craft Show, coming to the beautiful Greenville Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina, this November 2-3, 2019. The mission of Artisanville is to showcase remarkable and distinctive artists by giving them the opportunity to connect and sell to our local and international art-buying community. Media eligible include, glass, pottery, fiber/textile/leather, jewelry, metal work, woodwork, painting/drawing, printmaking, digital, mixed media, photography, sculpture, paper, décor, functional and recycled materials. Atlanta Dogwood Festival

Celebrating its 84th year, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival is an Atlanta tradition with an emphasis on art, music and family entertainment. Artists from across the country participate in Atlanta's premiere spring festival that attracts an average of 200,000 visitors each year. Continually rated amongst the top art shows in the country, professional management coupled with strong community and volunteer support make this a first class event.
