Sunniest Place on Earth Juried Show

The Yuma Art Center in Yuma, AZ announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, November 24, 2018 - February 2, 2019. Prizes include: first place, $1,000; second place, $650; third place, $350. Additional purchase prizes are expected. The Yuma Art Center invites artists from throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico for this all-media juried art show. The "Desert Botanical" theme encourages entries that encapsulate or represent the natural elements and/or wildlife of the Desert Southwest. Marin Museum of Contemporary Art in Novato, CA seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, November 17 - December 23, 2018. $900 in awards. Fish and Wildlife Conservation Art Contest and Show

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife seeks entries for an upcoming art contest to select the artwork, that will be featured on the 2019 Habitat Conservation Stamp and other promotional materials (e.g., art print, wine label). Proceeds will be used to benefit conservation of Oregon's native species and habitats. The winning artist will receive a $2,000 award. All ages and skill levels are welcome. 3 Square Art Gallery in Fort Collins, CO announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, November 9 - December 1, 2018. 3SA Gold Award: $200 + Certification, 3SA Silver Award: $100 + Certification. We are looking for all types of works--painting, sculpture, photography and more--works that show off your ability and creativity to work is a small space. Only 100 square inches will be allowed or less. However, the dimensions are up to you and multiple pieces can be submitted as a single diptych. Give viewers and collectors a chance to purchase a small piece of your artwork. Tucson JCC - Annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition

In 2009, the Tucson Jewish Community Center in Tucson, Arizona established a Sculpture Garden on its campus with a four-fold purpose in mind: to craft a public space that celebrates the appreciation of sculpture; to create an atmosphere of tranquility; to promote educational opportunities; and to enhance community fellowship. The JCC's garden currently contains over 40 sculptures by local, national, and international sculptors, ranging from a few feet tall to over 30 feet in height. All materials should be appropriate for an outdoor, desert environment. Sculptures must be for sale (65% commission to the artist, 35% to the Tucson JCC). Artists may submit up to three entries, although only one may be chosen for the exhibition (March 24, 2019 - March 1, 2020). Each selected entry will receive a $500 honorarium. There is no entry fee. Buffalo Creek Art Center artist residency

Buffalo Creek Art Center in Gardnerville, NV is a new summer artist residency for three-dimensional artists in metal, wood, ceramic and multimedia with an emphasis on traditional figurative and abstract works that encompass aesthetics and craftsmanship. Artist ages 18 and older may apply as well as international artists as long as they speak English. The residency starts June 1 and ends October 30. Artist can choose between a four, six or eight-week stay. Artists will be given free room and workspace and use of all the equipment. This unique thirty-four acre property includes a vineyard, fruit orchards, 8 ponds, a miniature train station and hiking trails.
