Join this all-levels workshop with artist Penix, focusing on creating depth and strong three-dimensional form in your paintings. Learn key concepts including warms and cools, harmony, edges, design, light and shadow, and expressive brushwork. Students will paint in oils (or their preferred medium) from provided photos—boats, cityscapes, figures, birds, still life, and more—or bring their own references.
The day begins with a full painting demonstration by Penix, followed by guided student painting in the afternoon. Participants may also bring a previous work for critique.

In this workshop, students will create a textured fine silver heart pendant featuring a garnet. The class focuses on core precious metal clay techniques, including rolling, texturing, refining, and proper construction for a finished pendant.
Students will also be introduced to using bezel cups for non-fireable stones. While there are options for surface textures and mold choices, all participants will be creating the same heart pendant design.

Figure drawing can feel intimidating, even for experienced artists, but strong results come from solid foundations. This immersive two-day workshop introduces time-tested classical principles of figure drawing, focusing on Structure, Line, Form, and Gesture—fundamentals that support all styles, from expressive sketches to highly realistic work.
Students will practice building the human figure with clear underlying structures, study examples from historical and contemporary masters, and explore working from photo reference, Zoom, and live models. The workshop concludes with a special guided Zoom drawing session with internationally known artist’s model Mariano DaMonte, offering a rare opportunity to study the male figure in a focused, instructional setting.
