Learn how to draw almost anything by learning how to really look! Using simple shapes and lines, young artists can learn how to create amazing drawings step-by-step. We will have fun using pencils, markers, oil pastels and watercolors to draw all sorts of creatures and critters that live on the land, swim in the sea, and fly in the sky! “Step-by-Step” drawing techniques can help young artists gain confidence and encourage them create more complex compositions. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, the classic by C.S. Lewis supports the theme for this week. Campers this week will create 2D and 3D art with a woodland creatures vibe! Campers will explore different mediums to create art with a mystical feel. Campers will also support the Theater camp with help in creating setting and props for their Theater production. The schedule for camp each day will be 10:00 - 3:00 with lunch and recess from 12:00 - 1:00. Campers will also participate in a daily Plein Air painting session to create an entry for Kids Paint OC. Campers will participate in an art show on Thursday and will watch the Theater Camp's production.
